A history of the Cape Colony published for the use of schools. This is the 5th edition which was revised and approved suitable for use in schools and for general circulation. This edition was published in 1885 and is in a compact form. Original dark navy blue cloth covered boards with some minor shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, there is some minor foxing and some browning to some pages. At the rear of the book, there is some cracking of the gutters and the Appendix pages are loose.
