Large format softcover, stapled souvenir book produced by the South African Railways, Airways and Harbours Publicity & Travel Department. The front cover shows a Zulu warrior, holding a shield and raising his assegai. The back cover reflects a tree lined railway with mountains in the background. The book has period vintage black and white photos and some coloured photographs and pictures. There is no published date but seems to be circa 1948 and showcases the best that South Africa offered at the time. Externally, some wear to the extremities of the covers.
