Southern Rhodesia: An Illustrated Handbook for the Use of Settlers and Tourists. Dated 1930, and issued by the Southern Rhodesia Publicity Bureau. The front cover is worn and grubby with some stains and rusting staples and has a vintage illustration. The inside cover and frontispiece has three rusty staples and the bottom right corner has been torn. Internally the first few pages are slightly tanned, with a small tear on the top right corner of page 7, but the pages that follow are in good condition. The handbook has a number of black and white photographs throughout and information on schools, mining, agriculture and commerce. The handbook is in acceptable reading condition for its age. These handbooks, produced for tourists and settlers, are very rare and are small pieces of history. Photos provided reflect the condition in addition to the above description. Overall condition is acceptable
