Rare, first edition, hardcover with dustjacket, in very good plus condition. This is an interesting book produced as a sample survey about seven small towns of Natal in 1952. (Ladysmith, Newcastle, Dundee, Greytown, Estcourt, Umzinto and Port Shepstone). Externally, original light blue dust jacket, with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Publisher's original navy cloth covered hardboards with title stamped on the spine. Internally, some tanning to the opening page, which seems to be from a bookmark. Pages are clean and bright.
