My African Home (Facsimile limited edition of the 1887 Edition, no. 428 of 1000 copies). This is the story of the author’s arrival in Natal, in 1852 and her subsequent settlement on a farm, ‘Feniscowles’. Externally, the book has the original yellow pictorial dust jacket, which is in excellent condition, with some minor shelf wear to the extremities and a small tear on the left bottom corner and a tiny spot and faint mark on the bottom edge. The original dark green cloth covered boards have the titling stamped in gilt on the spine. Internally, pages are bright and clean and in almost unread condition. Photos provided reflect the condition in addition to the above description. Overall condition is near fine
