1st Edition, hardcover book, provides a detailed history of early South Africa, Zululand and Natal. The author resided in Natal and had a deep respect for the Zulu people, their customs and history. Externally, original cloth covered boards with some wear to the extremities. Internally, the inside front and back covers show some cracking of the gutters and some exposed binding netting but binding is still good. Pages are clean with no visible foxing.
