Rare first edition, in very good condition. The Salisbury Club opened in 1893. A gentleman’s club based on the Pall Mall clubs of London. There are some b&w photos and details of members towards the end. Externally, the book is covered in the original red boards. The title and antelope motif are stamped on the front cover. There is minor wear to the extremities. There is some curving to the front cover. Binding is tight. Internally, there is light tanning to the pages and some light foxing throughout.
