Rare 1st edition, hardcover, Guide to Rhodesia. Issued in 1914, by Authority of the Beira and Mashonaland and Rhodesian Railways, for the use of tourists and settlers. A scarce and desirable book. Numerous black and white photos throughout and complete with a large colour fold-out maps of Rhodesia at the rear, Acropolis Ruins, The Elliptical Temple, Zimbabwe Ruins, Victoria Falls and single page map of the Khami Ruins. Externally, original leopard skin patterned covers with some minor shelf wear. Internally, the pages show no foxing and are in excellent condition. The binding is tight. Overall condition is very good.
